"I worked closely with Vardeep to develop a new brand name and identity that really fits who I am, what I do and who I work with. The process she has in place to dig deep into the essence of your brand is brilliant. I felt she really listened to me, she really 'got me' and I'm delighted with the final product. I absolutely love my new name, fonts, colours and logo. Everyone has commented how it truly reflects me. I'd highly recommend anyone thinking about brand work to get in touch with The Branding Fox."

The Problem

Hollie helps health and nutrition brands attract clients and grow on Instagram. As she'd honed in on that niche, she'd outgrown her own brand: the old name and look no longer matched the specialist she'd become.

It's a challenge I see all the time with founders whose businesses have evolved:

  • The brand was built for an earlier version of the business. As Hollie specialised, her original name and identity stopped fitting who she was and what she now did.
  • She was blending into a crowded market. Generic health-and-wellness aesthetics made it hard to stand out or show her creativity and real value.
  • The name itself wasn't working. She needed a name that actually communicated her new positioning and set her apart from the competition.

What Hollie needed was a brand that reflected who she'd become and how she'd grown, so she could show up in the market with a name and identity that finally felt like her.

The Solution

Hollie wanted a rebrand that ran deeper than a new look, so I started with strategy and let everything grow from there.

  1. Strategic foundations and brand discovery: so the rebrand was built on substance, not surface. A deep dive into her business objectives, audience and competitive landscape gave us a clear direction to design against.
  2. Competitor analysis and customer profiling: so she'd stand apart, not blend in. Understanding the market and her ideal client showed us exactly where she could differentiate.
  3. A defined brand personality: so the whole identity had a consistent tone. This set the character for everything that followed.
  4. A structured naming exercise: so her new name did real work. We explored directions that matched her vision and positioning, and landed on a name that communicates who she now is.
  5. A flexible logo suite, visual identity and guidelines: so her personality came to life and stayed consistent. Carefully crafted design, a versatile logo suite and full guidelines to build on.
  6. Social media templates (follow-on work): so her new brand looked as good in practice as on paper. Designs that look fabulous across her Instagram feed.

The Outcome

Hollie came away with a brand that fits the business she's built.

  • A fresh, modern identity that captures who she now is
  • A new name that communicates her positioning and sets her apart
  • A flexible logo suite and clear brand guidelines to grow with
  • A brand that stands out from generic health-and-wellness aesthetics
  • On-brand social templates that lift her Instagram feed
  • A strong foundation for future growth

And in Hollie's words, everyone has commented how it truly reflects her. The rebrand didn't just look good, it finally matched the person behind the business.

Reflections

This project reaffirmed something I come back to again and again: strategy before design. Taking the time to really understand Hollie's business and her market meant we could build a brand that goes beyond how it looks and actually drives the right connections.

The best part was hearing that it felt like her. When a founder's business has grown but their brand hasn't caught up, closing that gap is one of the most satisfying things I get to do.
